Really loving taking notes on neuronscience directly into Twitter. It's the right kind of stimulation to get verbal thought to cohere for me. Mediating between fluid, spacial, formless, nebulous ways of knowing and coherently verbalized thought feels sexy and right.

Gonna prolific post with neuroscience notes. Protip. Everyone can prolific post about something. The game starts when you find what that is.

are notes primarily for you? i'm thinking for twitter audience, may be easy to get lost in jargon if you don't take time to define at least very basics

Good question. I think im writing mainly for myself but I'm also open to defining basic terms And doing setuo for Twitter audience to make it more accessible. I have a pretty hard time writing at all so I'm happy starting to find a way to output.

If I can modify my prolific mode so others can benefit from it, it would be motivating. Mostly I suffer for lack of feedback on anything longer I've done.

If theres something that should be obvious but isnt I probably left it out because it's in my current mental context but forgot to write it out somewhere.

I can crystallize the context if some asks me about it. But for whatever reason it's too hard to try to setup context and then also write what I wanted to write.

I am trying to make it accessible. This is a big step up from personal notes where I don't Redefine terms and speak in vague shorthand pointing to connections.

i think you'll figure out with time what kind of context to include, to get the kind of engagement/feedback you want. it's great that you've found a way to tap into prolific mode in the first place

definitely value in starting from basic terms à la feynman technique but it can get exhausting to do every single time

Feels like an exciting challenge when u put it that way
can I do it enough so it becomes habit? Right now its exhausting tho.
