When I practiced free throws last summer I learned something very cool. My arm is like a catapault mounted on my shoulder. I don’t want to use my arm strength to fire the catapult—I want to use my legs. Bc firing means applying upwards force and my legs are better for that

Hard to explain I suppose, but I was really focusing on my body during each shot. Focusing on the whole chain from feet to fingertips. My arm is used for the horizontal force. Wrist and fingers were mostly for control. The movement uses the power of legs + dexterity of fingers

Does the card throwing rely on legs too? I've done this too, absolutely destroyed a few decks learning.

I don’t think it does involve much legs; I would imagine it’s almost entirely arm/wrist/fingers. And ayyyyy card throwing gaaaang. Yeah it wrecks em real quick. Especially bc it’s so fun to keep trying over and over

Yeah, I got the whip from the arms-wrist-finger pop. Just wondered if there was something I didn't know.
