Will try more to conversationalize some of what I'm thinking to make the space for others to comment on it. What signals a conversation starter?

This video explains tons of shit that I find really valuable for having good conversations. It might feel like a bit of a meme to watch a video about having a conversation, but theres crucial info in here imo.https://twitter.com/SeanMombo/status/1248402948729663495?s=20 …

blue dog @SeanMomboReplying to @mleglsShattering someones ego is definitely not my MO. this video literally and practically explains everything I know about how to communicate and persuade, without a conversation devolving into a explosive Mecha battle of ego projections. for 1on1 convos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIATzLf-y04 …1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

According to that video the best conversation follows the 80/20 rule. One person should do most of the talking. The other person should ask questions. So for example if I wanna talk to you, I can ask you questions. What do you think about that?

That's cool. I like the legibility of that form. 50:50 is a hard game to play but 80:20 then switch in the next round or something makes a lot of sense.
