But I likely won’t be doing that either, because I have more profitable and compelling things to do with my skillset Which I think is the core problem of tech journalism If you understand tech, why work for a media org? The unit economics don’t really make sense

- train a group of younger willing folk who don't have the options you have - offer relatively hands off mentorship - help amplify them look you have a media org!

Honestly visa, you have respect and an audience but I haven't seen you organize something bigger than a solo project. This may not be it but I would like to see you coordinate something bigger that could be a multiplicative force for good.

I've done several things in the past, most of them local. I'm very sensitive to the ways in which groups of people screw things up. I've come to believe that it's better to have loose confederacies of well-aligned people than to prematurely issue a call-to-arms on a campaign
