Do you think we can transcend this pleasure in our practice as we transcend suffering or desire?

i don't know if seeking (lower case here because it's outside of a scientific context) ends, I know I have not fully investigated: i still get a sense of seeking for the stream of experience and a sense it maybe extra seeking maybe also what is referred to as tanha

It is written as possible to transcend enjoyment, but what does this even feel like? Am I to attain a totally anomalous state of nothingness at all? No enjoyment, no striving, no recognition of emotional state at all? What is left without any sensation of transaction?pic.twitter.com/mQl3TVUKT9

i think of parts of Buddhism and other religions as early maps showing malfunctioning/positive psychology, they also have to make it across time and culture so I'm careful interpreting specific wording

we can't stop having emotions nor cognition, hedonic tone will stick around beyond altered states and pure consciousness experiences, it's chop wood carry water but not experiencing it as a bummer
