Ok #video recording friends
I have all of the equipment needed to setup a mini studio
But I can’t figure out how to set it all up in a relatively small space where my work desk lives
What’s your setup?
Pics appreciated

Thank you! I think that little arm is probably what I need

You are welcome! The arm is a desk mount ergotron but they can be wall mounted too. Amazon sells a generic one but you can get cheaper arms too that dont need to be as beefy as an ergotron monitor arm. I had these lying around.

The other stuff is a mishmash of photography/film mounting hardware, I can dig it up the info if you want to know. Goose arm, mounting block, adapters. I made sure The block matched the hole pattern on the hole pattern on the arm.pic.twitter.com/x9mzZS3hRZ

You have to screw or bolt the arm to the desk, there are wall mount versions too The ergotron arms come in 1 or 2 arm length sections with extending sections available, that's what u see herepic.twitter.com/lFSFF2Gtgz

Bolt is easier I think cause it’s not permanent (of course it’s never going to end up moving once there...) I need it to hold a DSLR and probably the mic, so weight shouldn’t be a problem

Sorry I got my verbs wrong. *clamp* or bolt to desk. I dont want to undo this clamp setup to check for a bolt hole tho so I'm not 100% certain about bolting with this one. lf you bolt it would mean a hole in the desk.pic.twitter.com/d5h8wCcF8x
