Libertarians and progressives should love ranked-choice voting. They can run their own candidates without worrying about handing the election to the "greater evil". (I'm trying to earn the label "Ranked Choice Voting Bro". How am I doing?)

RCV is basically score voting with an extra constraint on the scoring. I don't expect them to be that different in the aggregate most of the time. Kenneth Arrow did consider score slightly better, but I'll go with whichever method looks to have the most momentum.

True. There are some issues with constitutionality for RCV in some states which STAR can get around. Momentum ftw.
