i keep getting the impression that human behavior is almost entirely context dependent, even if it doesn't *feel* like it
(two things I need to verify) i've heard folk with destroyed emotional systems are essentially catatonic lesions on the hippocampus of a cat lead to the cat ceaselessly exploring, it doesn't get bored

observing my own mind - my emotions depend highly on context - context is [place/social/physical model/conceptual model] - is context ever not associative or spacial? it doesn't feel like it. like that's the nature of space and relation. or relation period.
