Me too. I think we'd end up somewhere interesting in the overlap of like a "technical" or maybe "mechanistic" framework (x has to happen for y to happen for processing to happen) and something about values (use faith, bravery, self-trust, self-distrust, etc as required).

Jumping in here.
@authorlessauth1 I'm answering from an intuitive understanding of architypical masculine/feminine the energies of which all have.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -
Much of my experience of meditation is going in strong with investigative, oft forceful energy which for me brought up strong resistance and emotion which I'd usually oppose.

Everything changed when I learned that phenomenona could investigate themselves by holding an intention of receptivity while dialing back the forceful energy. Everyone who is not stuck emotionally does this, they let the emotion unfold according to it's own energy.

Femine receptive, holding Masculine investigative, penetrating There another set of terms that are related, idk what culture but I learned them in a dzogchen + mahamudra retreat context. Ma - mother (f) Bu - child (m) I'm mapping them to m/f but that's my own afaik.

In acting training, I learned a lot about interpersonal energy flows as connected to breath. I breath in to receive what meaning/energy/needs/vibe is coming off my fellow actor, I breath out and ON my exhale, I speak or move

(not breath out and THEN speak or move, bc then the natural impulse happened BEFORE the action and is gone by the time the action occurs, which makes the action "false" or "forced"). Then you breathe in/receive and an impulse for action/penetrating me comes out on the exhale.

(in the vein of mapping energies onto known ideas like masc/fem. Acting training is about as intuitive for me after my years of training-- its special bc it "trains" a capacity for flowing/free interpersonal interactions- or perhaps even intrapersonal ones, btw parts of a person)

love this. gonna give the speak with my exhalation instead of after idea a shot. i sense myself doing this already but am curious what's going on (internally) in this sense in group interactions where i tend to keep quiet so i can give voice to others

The acting connection is fascinating, I want to try this out too

Oooh yay!!! Tell me how it goes! I think it's another universe of experience (first can't tell I'm not doing it, then can tell but afraid to change it, then try 1st time aah, then get comfortable trying as a pattern, then becomes a habit, then totally new mode of interacting)

Realizing lately that there's a lot of universes of experience like this to integrate into daily way of being. And it all seems to flow along those exact progression levels you mentioned! I'll keep you posted!
