Who had fun developing (+)self-centeredness? It's honestly something either underdeveloped or developed in a (-)way in myself. By (+)self-centeredness I mean getting what you want, taking up space verbal or otherwise, or exercising preference in ways that don't diminish others.

Trying to do it rn. It’s difficult but rewarding when I get it right. Are you thinking of giving it a shot?

absolutely one thing I'm learning is it takes ... sacrifice. (Even if it's my own money lol!) Saying Yes. Sometimes within reason. Sometimes a bit outside of reason as a treat. Tonight I ate hotpot all by myself and it was a glorious gratification of aesthetic&food preference

I had a revelation that me providing space for people to make their choices was just me afraid to suffer the consequences of those choices. I started making decisions anyway and am developing safety with that process rn by noticing what’s missing in the way I do it and adding it.
