Consciousness is a space of shared receptivity in which information exchange happens. Consciousness in every case but one is consciousness-of senses including the mind sense.

An individual being contains multitudes of consciousnesses in the form of shared receptive sub-mind spaces. Consciousness is divisible. In split brain patients (severed corpus callosum) each HemisphereMind will "have its own separate perception, concepts, and impulses to act."
