Something about knitting makes otherwise boring/mediocre shows super therapeutic. Like my brain is distracted just enough to let background thoughts unwind and relax and wander. Been knitting and watching relaxing shows/youtube all day, highly recommend

My wife swears by this and running as her keeping-sane standbys. Since we've been together she also incorporated some meditation (occasional 5-10 minutes breath object or a body + sense scan) which freed up somethings that her standby's didn't.
