Ouch. Got an exertion head ache from too many squats too quickly after not to much exercise. Karma from believing I'm a video game character.
Seems like they are an irritation of the meninges. Happen usually during compound exercises, mainly squats, when blood pressure spikes.

Happened during 25 RM. Felt like I was pushing past resistance around ~17 but then had shallow breath and elevated heart rate. Dizzy on final rep then head a head ache and nausea, even when managing it by putting my head between my legs and sitting.

Dull headache now after 40 min.
it's an injury, apparently, that takes up to 2 months to heal. Moral of the story is go slow, ego about what one was doing previously, without building back up over time, injures. Thought I would have learned by now.Show this thread -
Found this explanation very useful http://www.apexllc.org/articles/exertion-headaches/ …

It is what I'm going by to figure out how to manage this. Exercise folk seem pretty credible about this stuff probably having to deal with way more than a PCP would.

Doing pretty well after hour and a half, an ibuprofen, and soup.
