borrowing this from someone but the "npc" stuff is hilarious because it's really the ultimate "special snowflake" thinking, believing you're unique and special purely because you found out that you have self-awareness

So from a dnd perspective it's more like: We assumed we were in a world of other pcs, but now we found its more like a simulation because some of the lines of other characters are so *on script and droning* it's as if they were programmed npcs.
