Ahhh lol...Yeah Im gen X. Loved growing up in the 80s. If i could get in the Delorean Car i would in a second...tho with a 50 year sports mag too.

For the most part I get a severe case of galloping cringes when I think back of the 80's,. Exceptions are cars, motorbikes, some non mainstream music and a few movies.

Early Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, Alien Sex Fiend, Cocteau Twins, The Jesus and Mary Chain etc etc There were more that were probably more mainstream your side of the pond but were barely known where I grew up. My absolute highlight of the mid 80's: seeing Queen live on stage

I've heard of one or two of those groups. At a certain time freestyle was tops with Italians and Latinos here in NYC. Pretty sure it was big in Philly and FLA too. What a time to be alive
