200 lbs on your back means your lungs can't expand to take in a breath of air. 200 lbs on your neck... well we know this one.pic.twitter.com/TCDEDLTABj

He does not have his knee on her upper back as the seargant claimed. It is definitely on her neck and he needs to be fired. I don’t care how long ago it was.

"It was found to be in compliance with department policy." Time and again, they say this shit as if that's the end of it. Never once does the fact that acts in "disturbing" video are "in compliance with policy" make them question whether the goddamned policies need changing.

“The video is disturbing. When taken in its complete context the officer’s actions were determined reasonable for the resistance he was faced with. From the officer’s perspective he believed the driver posed a threat to him and others in the area." - Chief Steve Mylett (2018)

The video is "disturbing" however it is in compliance with the departments guidelines, basically he is admitting their guidelines on use of force is, disturbing.https://bellevuebeatblog.com/2020/06/05/bellevue-police-respond-to-video-of-2018-incident/ …

Jfc, we need to start over completely with cops. Recruiting, training, monitoring, etc... everything.
