Our response to hate should always be that it is wrong no matter if it directed towards us or not. Hate against anyone, anywhere, at anytime is ALWAYS WRONG. You don't have to be a muslim to stand up against the hate we face. WE NEED MORE OF THIS

Reminds me of this. He said "I didn't answer the question because my response to Islamophobia has never been 'I'm not Muslim.' It has always been and will be that 'hate is wrong."

That's only the half of it. Back in 2008 when running for Mayor of London, Boris Johnson had to apologise for referring to black people as "piccaninnies" and talking about them having "watermelon smiles".

Masterful speech. I would love to see even a 10th of this level of this eloquent and righteous anger directed, from the floor of Congress, at #45.

How often do you watch Congress? Legitimate question, not an attack. There is a LOT of this level of anger in Congress, but what we need in the US is the President sitting there having to listen directly. He's not required to BE THERE & I really wish he was.
