The hardest part?....The utter lack of excitement. When you burn on art all day that's not for you, it accrues a creative toll that must be paid. It's incredibly defeating to sit down with a sketchbook or ZBrush in your own time and just...not be excited by the potential.
During those times, I've found you have to keep diligently (but gently) blowing on the ember to keep it alive - don't stress about trying to stoke a raging inferno from nothing. The fire will always be there, you may just have to wait for it to alight when you least expect it.
