in the animation biz, stuff fans think helps can actually screw us over, and might screw over the shows you love, and if you truly want to help the crew of a show you love, there's a few things you should/shouldn't do

This is super helpful. I new this was true for video games and stuff but I can only imagine how much more it rings true for shows!
If anything the staff of shows have to adhere to this more than almost any other media type. Games have a natural community feedback loop built into them to improve, but ongoing shows have to remain feedback neutral on legal grounds. Jessica's thread here is an excellent summary.
