Went on Facebook for the first time in a while. First post I see is a CDC infographic on masks. Top comment is some Karen commenting on how it's better to breathe without a mask to improve our immune systems. But that's not good for the CDC's "bottom line." Our species is doomed

I personally think u should wear a mask but, why is the world doomed for someone expressing their own opinion ?
Because acting on that "opinion" puts others at risk. If I say I don't care for professional sports, so I don't watch it, that's an opinion and harms no one. If I were to say 'I don't seat-belts should be mandatory', acting on that opinion puts other people's lives in danger.
