Gotta love how it's the folks with no industry experience that are just *bristling* with confidence on how it works. No one gives a damn about where you went to school. As long as you're not a gibbering mess, have decent interpersonal skills, and a solid portfolio, you're fine.
Its always the ones who know nothing that talk the most and are the loudest. And its extremely damaging to students who dont know any better
Honestly, the best class I've had so far (at my college) is the one where they teach you how to make a good resume/portfolio/demo reel in your area of animation. I LOVE learning about modeling/ tech. direction but I'll also be learning it for the REST of my life...
to add on,(for me) going to an art school helped me find what I love in animation/games. I find school useful for finding your strength in art not for representing a name... ANYWAYS, for me it’s not about THE BEST school, it’s about what you make out of it. Idk 4am rant
