A few years ago at a previous job, my father passed away at 6AM in the morning. I woke to my mom’s sudden call with the news. In grief, I booked my 17 hour flight home and informed my work. My AD then told me to FINISH my current task before I could go. No condolences, nothing.https://twitter.com/Marie_M_P/status/1275888345378324483 …

Thanks Bryan. I’m glad you had a good lead and I’m so sorry to hear about your stepmom. I hope you and your family are doing well

You as well, Ying, take care of yourself.
Hopefully when we all return to work, we can all look into doing some Blizz cross-team character art lunches rolling. We have such a great community of artists right there on campus.

. When my stepmom passed from cancer, My lead told me to hurry out of the office so I could go be with family. Everyone should have that kind of support.
