looking at #GameDevPaidMe, it's outright appalling how much less we pay artists than engineers for positions. it's inexcusable, and continues to feed toxic narratives that value engineering over art

. It has nothing to do with ‘more difficult technical training’. It takes the same amount of skill, dedication, and thousands & thousands of hours honing your craft for art AND engineering. Engineers get paid more because financial institutions want them too.

Never said their training was more difficult. A lot of people hate mate and technology. A lot of people are not good at it. It's a selective field. Mastering something requires hours of dedication no matter what, but the supply (my point) and demand (his) of engineering is higher
