Hiring practices? You mean you will hire based on skin color? Isnt that what racism is?

Not sure if you're asking this question in good faith, but usually what this equates to is making sure qualified, diverse talent is actively sought out & encouraged. Practices like making the initial rounds of candidate screening 'blind' so it's just name+qualifications, etc.

There's lot so neat hiring tricks and levers you can fiddle with during recruitment to get a wider range of talent to pull from so it provides opportunity to lots of folks. More often than not, it leads to a really diverse range of game devs with a good mix of creative voices.

I dont like diversity for diversity sake. But your vision of it sounds really good and genuine. I wish more people would present it like you do. As a creative device based on different culture. Which is the point, culture, not skin color. I complety agree. Love you btw.

No problem man! As game devs we're not great about being regularly transparent about how the industry works, but in reality this is the format that most of the 'diversity' initiatives actually work. It sounds like silly PR, but really game teams just want a variety of good ideas.
