Perhaps "carefully guided" was a better term. Even with your rough math there you're still looking at a huge team working for 4+ years to make a game at that fidelity. That's already the case now, UE5 just provides more bells and whistles to tack on top of all that.

Everyone has their own interest in posting such comments. Wait until we see the first & second batch of final projects (launch - 2024) utilizing these systems, that will give a true indication of where developers aim at. Nothing else matters at this point.
