Oh Blizzard, only you can take a positive, crap on it and plan to line your pockets. Yet another affirmation that flushing you was the correct choice.
My understanding is that by specifying a cap, it removes the time-limited charity offer that it's been in the past. Meaning ALL sales go towards donation, not just those within a set time. The charity sales generally only make it up to about $1.5 - 2 million based on past events.
