I just want to make the final point that if someone came to me with an irrefutably real leak that detailed the main story-line and end-result of an expansion I would NOT support such a leak. I didn't think this was THAT extreme. I guess, to some, it was.
But there's nothing quite like sacrificing future business relationships/trust for those sweet, sweet 'engagement' clicks right?
Leaks are leaks...
They make devs sad no matter what's in them.
You're essentially comparing 'business relationships' to 'engagement clicks' when both result in the same thing. I hope you see that.
I saw a leak a spoiler a 'made you look' and someone who made the decision to spread it... You do you, I guess, but man...I feel bad for my colleagues who get their reveal stolen from them.
In this case they actually could take pyro to court over it, he's not protected by being a reporter, the information was illegally obtained... this isn't just sacrificing this is strapping it to 4 kilotons of TNT and pushing the igniter.
