Whoa, that is a rad side-by-side comparison. I’d imagine that’s a bit of a challenge to work with such a specific shader style in mind during the whole process. Were you guys able to check how the final result was looking along the way?

not exactly. well, not until right before i quit--the last thing i did was make a viewport shader for substance painter. We tried to block things in and look at them even with just block colors as early as made sense.

I just did a lot of save texture > check unreal viewport > go back to photoshop and make a small change > save > repeat
