I must be one of those 3D artists that work in a game company but is afraid af of the game engine and spends all time in comfy 3DsMax, not even thinking about Unity or Unreal. That stuff is spoopy for me D;

Granted Blizz also works with a lot of proprietary software (or engines that are so heavily modified that they might as well be proprietary), so learning those can be daunting at times as you can't just google an issue. On the other hand, the people that made it work there too.

Yup same here in Gameloft, with proprietary software nothing like any engine that ive seen so that doesn't help either and I find myself annoying devs all day long lul
