Even as a fan of square-jawed, stronger features & a more punky look for my own female models/sculpts...I still find their changes to the character a bit weird. I’m not really much of a DMC fan, but the style shift seems like an odd choice for that franchise.

You said that, style shift. That's what happens when you switch to straight up scanned models in a franchise that has always been on the slightly stylized side, it's gonna look *off*

I suppose so. Hopefully they look alright in the final product. If the game ends up doing exceptionally well, this could end up being THE DMC style moving forward in the audience eyes. Happened with Kratos - early games were stylized, but it’d feel weird going back to that now.
