this game so much! It takes patience & pretty careful planning to engage nasty encounters like that, but I loved the challenge. XCOM2 even ramped up the variety of screwed situations you could get yourself into if you were reckless with you duders. I adore these games.You might try jumping to XCOM2. The story from the first gets retconned a bit anyway, but the gameplay, tactics, and options available to how you build your squad(s) was even more engaging. I haven't tried the newest 'Chosen' expansion, but all the DLC for it is pretty neat too.
