I felt an almost dibilitating degree of art-envy earlier in my career. I would look at other artists’ work through a lens of my own shortcomings. It wasn’t until I stopped worrying about ‘keeping up’ and started using art to express my ideas that I accepted my own work.
Dude your work inspiring as heck so you must be doing something right! We each have our path to walk so it always cool to see other artists embracing theirs. Granted I'm still kicking myself for not gunning for that character spot at Red Hook like I should have. Self-doubt sucks!
