Putting the two characters together is a cute idea. That way there is a lot of collaboration to make sure they look like they are from the same world.
Huh, that actually sounds super fun! Perhaps even add a variation where you sculpt a small creature/character and then swap at a certain point and see what you each make or change from that base. Man...now I really wan to try this when I clear my schedule a little.
