If you ever have the chance to work with other people on personal projects please take it! There is nothing more fulfilling than meeting new people and working together 
Something as simple as a tweet asking for partners can really make a project special.
We usually see character art tag-teams with VFX or Animators to make some really amazing work, but I love the idea of working with another character artist in some way. I wonder what that would look like. One sculpts, the other textures? Sculpt trades? Seems like a fun challenge.

Sculpt trades would be so cute!! Or like doing a character creature sculpt, where you both sculpt a creature, and the other person decides who the companion would be

Putting the two characters together is a cute idea. That way there is a lot of collaboration to make sure they look like they are from the same world.

I've had talks with a buddy of mine about how we would do it and we were kind of splitting up the work? It was a female character with tech/mech parts, so i would build the woman and he would make all the hard surface stuff. It seems tougher to divide but it would be fun!!
