Honestly what gets me about Cyberpunk 2077 And cis people writing cyberpunk is that you CANNOT convince me the concept of gender hasn’t been radicalized in a cyberpunk world. People would modify their bodies until gender no loner mattered, until we couldn’t be defined. Come on.
I dig this discussion and I have an honest question: does that not make it somewhat more true to a trans experience? We're assigned a biological sex at birth (character creation) and then we get to define whatever gender or non-gendered role we outwardly prefer/exhibit?

Granted I doubt the system will actually extend that far, but I think the exploration of gender in a cyberpunk setting is fascinating. Would the current setup be more satisfying for NB if you could choose either "body" and then gender just chosen as "non-binary" or similar?

I can't speak for NB people since I'm actually pretty binary, but one issue I have is mainly that they are adults and they already have a backstory. If they were actually NB in this world of body mods there is a good chance that they would have already transitioned by that age.
