Can anyone tell me why there are so many steaming piles of filth games in that have been made piggybacking on the D&D universe? The vast majority are just utter weaksauce. The potential for greatness is so vast, are no big studios interested in taking on the IP?
To my knowledge, the last truly great game in a D&D setting was...Neverwinter Nights, I believe? NwN2 was fun as well, but yeah, there definitely needs to be another new game that leverages the d20 system in an interesting way. There's just so much great content to use!
