Very true. I suppose that's the real measure of personal skill and growth: when you've accrued enough training and practice that you can (sub)consciously recognize where to land between stylization, proper anatomy, and exaggeration of features for each project.
So honest question: would you classify one as 'more correct' than the other or is a mostly a matter of personal preference? In the middle of a project I sometimes struggle with spotting the fine line between correct anatomy and just natural human variation in body proportions.
