Update – issues with realtime data this should be fixed now, but let us know if you're seeing otherwise. Also, view counts for the affected videos have been restored. Thanks again for your patience.

It's happening to me too. The video stops gaining viewership around 2 hours after it's uploaded, and as a result is (in my case) WAY below half of near where it normally would be. It'd be nice if they told people who do this for a living what's going on.

Wait what?? Must’ve been a big algorithm change pushed through. Really wish they’d post when big ones get pushed

It's always boggling to figure out just why sub and views get chopped down... Worst case scenario is that they are being edited to make sure that those who do boost to try and make it to trending have less "competition" in those areas.
-
As for "boosting", it's hard to pin down such methods. I'm just skeptical such a thing happens with certain YTbers, either by conspiracy of bribery, or just knowing more about the algorithm enough to get by its content checkpoints.

Looks like a visual glitch in the real-time view report. A video with a 200k public facing view count shows 100k on the real-time dashboard. Socialblade still shows the legit numbers with no dips.

Thanks for letting us know, we're actively working to fix this, appreciate your patience.
