My family cut beef & pork out of our diets & we eat locally sourced organic chicken w/o antibiotics, hormones or pesticide-laden feed. We get protein from beans sold by a local organic farm, CA organic Jasmine rice, yellowfin tuna & eggs from a friend’s hens.
Corporate farms. -
A lot of people (most) can’t afford to eat so well, and/or have little to no access to local food.

You may not be aware that a lot chicken & pork are raised in USA & processed in China. Ask your store where your food is processed, if they don’t have an answer, demand to know - politely.
