A mere 4 hours per subscriber? What is your average video, 5 minutes? So they just need to watch 48 of your videos in their entirety? Yup, that's problematic.
Read Youtube's new thing, thought I was ok with over 1000 subs and nearly 70,000 minutes watched in the last 12 months.... but no.
4000 HOURS watch time, that's 240,000 Minutes.....

It seems unfair at first, but honestly I think it’s the first smart business decision Youtube has made in a long time. It raises the bar high enough to create a “unique and hard working Youtubers get rewarded” environment, which is exactly what is needed

Oh, I agree with you, it makes a lot of sense. Reminds me of how it used to be before they opened it up to everyone. I just misread hours as minutes and that difference sadly means all the work I have put in over the years gets undone in 30 days time! :(
