Capitalism is indeed the magic answer but small tiny changes are great too! Have you ever read “The Design of Everyday Things” by Don Norman?

Minor point, but I think in some cases these two parameters conflict. What makes my life easier may not ultimately make it *better* overall.
E.g. I see it as a social and environmental responsibility for product designers and manufacturers to acknowledge the right to repair.

It may be more convenient (and conveniently profitable) to replace these things entirely and although this might seem to some like a step forward, it doesn't to me.
Reading what I've written, perhaps I haven't made my point clear enough 😂
My point: repair stuff.
