Wait... wouldn't this flag be more from around 1818 (minus Mississippi and a handful of colonies). ;)
I do love this. It would have been simple to go all 'Betsy Ross' on the stars. Jan's design has balance. That's why he is one of Holland's most influential graphic designers!
