Look, I've really liked Scarlett Johansson in some of her films, but I think the actor playing a trans man should BE a trans man if at all possible! Scarlett Johansson seems to need to learn that not ALL roles belong to her.

Chaz Bono would have been perfect. He's famous, handsome, and a bigger trans guy. Giving a skinny cis woman the role of a fat trans man is just flat out ridiculous. I mean what they going to do, put her in a fat suit as well as steal work from trans actors? Not okay.

give trans roles to trans people. give disabled roles to disabled people. give fat roles to fat people (rather than skinny actors "fatting up" for them)

Cops in cop roles Drug dealers in drug dealer roles Mechanics in mechanic roles Sounds like real life not actors acting in a movie

false equivalent is not a valid argument in these cases.

Negative, the whole point of acting is pretending to be someone you aren't.

Next you're going to be mad that the person playing a cop isn't a cop. It's called acting for a reason.
