Better idea - let's all learn basic life-saving skills like CPR & elevation/pressure to control bleeding and ALSO fight for reasonable gun laws. & do more wrt to alienated kids who could become the next mass shooters - reaching out early as well as reporting disturbing behavior

CPR is pretty damn ineffective when the cause of the cardiac arrest is traumatic organ damage or blood loss. As you said though, the class is only a few hours, so luckily the kids can fight for gun control AND take a CPR class. Everyone wins.

Do you two not think these kids tried to save their classmates? Several people sacrificed their own lives saving many kids. Are they supposed to perform CPR in the midst of being shot at? They had no idea if the shooter was coming back or when he was done shooting.
