I am so grateful to the Parole Board. I'm also grateful to everyone who has supported my father during his more than 4 decades behind bars.

I’m thinking about the other children affected by my father's crime and want to make sure that nothing I do or say further upsets the victims’ families. Their loved ones will never be forgotten.

You're absolutely entitled to be happy that your father is free. You lost your parents that day too and you're not responsible for what happened, nor for anyone else's feelings. Enjoy your time with them.

No one that murders 3 people should ever be set free.

The point of the correctional system is that you serve your time, pay your debt to society, then get a second chance. 40 years is more than enough. The impulse to ruin another life for the sake of revenge is medieval.

40 years for a triple murder isn’t justice. It’s just ass.
