I always find it incredibly challenging to find a specific app in the notification center list. Why not alphabetical?pic.twitter.com/y2UugX2ylN

@_DavidSmith Because you’re sorting in Notification Center manually?

@caseyliss @_DavidSmith That doesn’t effect the settings screen.

      4. Casey Liss ‏@caseyliss 27 Nov 2013

@petebocken @_DavidSmith surely does. That’s how you reorder their appearance on notification center.

@caseyliss @_DavidSmith he is referring to the settings screen for notification center, not notifications in notification center.

@caseyliss @_DavidSmith sorting the settings > notification center screen is not alpha, I believer that is what he was referring to, yes?

@petebocken yeah, the settings area is where it gets confusing. I understand the function but seems a really cumbersome interface for it.

@_DavidSmith @caseyliss for sure, I started manually editing the order so I know which one’s I have something set for.

@_DavidSmith Or have a search field!

      1. Mike Hay ‏@Hay 27 Nov 2013

@_DavidSmith because that’s the display order as well. you know you can reorder that list manually, right?

@_DavidSmith yep, and it’s worse for the more hardcore users (who have more apps).

    3. Ondřej Mirtes ‏@OndrejMirtes 27 Nov 2013

@_DavidSmith You can rearrange the list - notifications appear in that order in the notification center.

    4. Peter M. O’Donnell ‏@pmod 27 Nov 2013

@_DavidSmith Agreed. The order in that view can be rearranged which affects the order in notification center.

@_DavidSmith Worse yet is that Settings.app, inexplicably, still doesn’t have search till this day.

    6. Stephen Allred ‏@stephenallred 27 Nov 2013 City of London, England

@_DavidSmith that’s the order they appear in notification centre too.

@_DavidSmith agreed! Any chance of an alpha sort of feeds on the @FeedWrangler Edit Smart Stream page? ;)

    8. Peter Bockenhauer ‏@petebocken 27 Nov 2013

@_DavidSmith I would at least like any app that i’ve set a setting for would stay at the top. I always manually move them to the top.

@_DavidSmith Doesn't it change the order in which items appear in Notification Centre?
