To the E-sports community, this is like the Christina Grimmie shooting, and will change the dynamics of events forever.

Law enforcement just confirmed the mass shooting, and that the situation is not under control.https://twitter.com/JSOPIO/status/1033779451144888320 …

It's really shameful to broadcast these videos while families are still trying to find out if their children are alive.
-
More shameful to bury our heads in the sand and do nothing about the gun problem.

I want to know if he survived or what? You can see the laser on the guy in the hoodie when he turned around. This sad
-
He died along with another pro player
-
Thanks for the update. Heard he lost to him in the tournament and shot him and start shooting people. Regardless it’s inexcusable and sad. Prayers for their souls and all they loved ones. Smh
-
Yep super sad just gotta keep praying

Yeah, you can disarm the population and leave it helpless before the government and the criminals. That's pretty crazy.
-
You are literally describing every industrialized country where this far-flung scenario has not happened, like Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Iceland, etc, and guess what, their mass shooting rate is way lower. Perhaps focus on real life, as opposed to dystopic fantasies.
-
How's Europe getting overrun while the bureaucrats don't give a damn for a dystopic fantasy? How are the no-go zones cropping up in Australia with their confiscation? Russia's pretty fun. You can push unarmed population so much further. How's Venezuela? Dystopian enough for you?
-
What's dystopian for me is having to hear about mass shootings every month and having to worry to go to the mall, go to school, go anywhere in America without the fear of being involved in a mass shooting.

@RLewisReports@Thooorin tragic man. I think of how you guys talk about how loose security is at these events. Sadly it seemed like a matter of time before this would happen in the US. -
As a former security guard it seemed extremely naive, or profit oriented, esport event organizers are to not place security as a #1. Especially considering the threats you two, and players, get from “fans.”

Oh my God...praying for the innocent young folks that just wanted to play their game in peace.
