  But African leaders (most of them) r stifling growth of their own nations. Too many quasi dictatorships . And what is with striking non beneficial deals with superpowers? A continent in a leadership crisis. we lose 3 times in resources than what we get the foreign aid we get

  African Union You should be ashamed for being proud of this. Africa having youngest population in the world is as a result of bad governance which lead to low life expectancy. This is not something to be proud of or even referencing.

  Only if AU is serious and means business as stated here than theoretical precepts,AU must pressure not only for rotation of power by unproductive ageing Leaders, but must in addition, pressure nations to grant youths unfettered access to political activism
