They are not "de facto authorities". They are Russia's occupation regime in Geirgia's Abkhazia region. Terminology matters!
The de facto authorities in #Abkhazia are holding today illegitimate “presidential elections”. Georgia condemns this sham process as yet another violation of our national sovereignty.

Abkhazia defeated Georgia's invaders in September 1993, lived through years of Russian/CIS blockade and terrorist activities by Georgian saboteurs, drove back a further incursion over the Ingur in 1998.
