Abkhazia defeated Georgia's invaders in September 1993, lived through years of Russian/CIS blockade and terrorist activities by Georgian saboteurs, drove back a further incursion over the Ingur in 1998.

The people of Abkhazia do not consider themselves Georgians and have the right to choose their own head of state! And the president of Georgia needs to deal with his people and not go to neighbors with advice.
