Melbourne Zoo's Keepers are using the Emperor Tamarin's favourite treat, acacia gum and flowers, to encourage the pair to voluntarily hop on the scales! Why? So they can check for any fluctuations in their weight and make sure they're looking healthy!

Healthcare training with the Ostriches in action! Keepers at Werribee Open Range Zoo are checking on the health of the herd by weighing them and using snacks as reinforcement. The cool part is the Ostriches have complete control of the situation and can walk away at any time.
